As an acting party of the 2016 Paris Agreement, the UK must respond to the threat of global climate change by aiming to keep global temeprature increase to well below 2 degrees Celsius this century. One action proposed by the Forestry Commission is to have a tree planting campaign to sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The model provided by Morland CIS can simulate the impacts of afforestation on the hydrological regime of the Morland cacthment.
